We will gladly help you create the best package. Your safari Tanzania & Zanzibar beach itinerary starts with meet and greets at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro. Then, you will transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Our safari manager will give you a short briefing. After that, you will spend the rest of the day in your lodge, relaxing and enjoying an inviting lodge environment. In the morning, meet your experienced safari driver guide. Begin the first day of your Tanzania safari by driving to Ngorongoro Crater.

Days 1-2: Arrival – Arusha | 2 Nights

 

Your driver will greet you at Kilimanjaro Airport. Then, you will be taken to the Gran Melia in Arusha. There, you will spend the night and have dinner. After two days of lodging, get ready to begin your actual safari.

Gran Melia Arusha offers some rooms with fabulous views of shapely Mount Meru in the distance. Additionally, the rooms themselves are excellent. Moreover, there’s an onsite restaurant, and the spa and wellness center is perfect for relaxing after a long day on the plane.

Day 3-4: Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater | 2 Nights

 
High in the Ngorongoro Highlands, you can expect beautiful views, dense forests, and cool temperatures. Besides Ngorongoro Crater, there are plenty of dramatic land formations, with steep-walled craters and high, rocky summits. Watch for wildlife in the forests, including elephants, buffaloes, and, if you’re extremely lucky, leopards.

Leave the crowds behind and join us for a guided game drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands. It’s a chance to see and learn what this remarkable landscape offers. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is an authentic safari classic. Surrounded by forests on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, it features a mixture of traditional safari decor and bright modern rooms. Whether you’re in your room or enjoying a meal in the restaurant, you’ll barely be able to tear yourself away from the views over the crater. Excellent service is another hallmark of staying here.

Days 5-7 Ndutu Area ( Wildebeest Calving Season on December -April) | 3 Nights

 

Explore one of the best wildlife viewing areas during the green season today: Ndutu, situated between South Serengeti and North West Ngorongoro. This zone hosts the Great Migration from December to April, where herds graze and calve on nutrient-rich short grasslands abundant in minerals. Witness hoofed mammals in abundance, accompanied by iconic predators that migrate annually in a clockwise circle.

Begin your day early, departing from your camp to track the Great Migration across the plains. Ndutu offers prime opportunities to observe lions and cheetahs hunting, with off-road game drives permitted. The park is home year-round to six cat species: African wildcat, caracal, serval, cheetah, leopard, and lion. Additionally, spot diverse wildlife like giraffes, elephants, warthogs, and hyenas.

Day 8-9 : Ndutu - Serengeti National Park | 2 Nights

 

Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife such as cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostriches, warthogs, aardvarks, pangolins, and many beautiful birds. Serengeti, boasting the largest concentration of mammals globally, offers this beauty. However, discover it all on an afternoon game drive. Therefore, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge, located in the central Serengeti, maximizes the vast horizons of this exceptional park. As well as it sits atop a rise overlooking seemingly endless plains, with its spacious safari tents providing breathtaking views. Similarly, wildlife sightings from your tent are always possible. In addition, the camp operates on solar power, features a swimming pool. Lastly, its public areas also boast panoramic views

 

Day 14: Beach Resort to Zanzibar Airport

 

After breakfast on day 14, you can relax at the resort until you need to transfer to the airport. Once you have checked out of your room at 11:59 AM, you can store your luggage at the resort and continue enjoying the resort facilities.

When it is time for your airport transfer, our driver will collect you at reception and drive you to the Zanzibar International Airport.
