Day by day highlights

 

Days 1-2: Welcome to Tanzania! | 2 Nights

 

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will transfer to Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel in Moshi, a distinguished 4-star boutique hotel known for its excellent ambiance and amenities. Subsequently, on the following day, enjoy a scenic drive to Chagga Village, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by elders with traditional song and dance. Therefore,  immerse yourself in local banana and coffee cultivation, interact with children, and savor authentic Chagga cuisine.

This immersive visit lasts approximately 5 to 7 hours before returning to your accommodation in Moshi. However, It’s a day filled with cultural immersion and warm hospitality, offering insights into the rich traditions of Tanzania’s Chagga community.

Days 3-4: Meet the famous Maasai and learn about their fascinating culture

 

After breakfast, you will drive to a small village called Osiligilai, which takes approximately 2 hours. But, upon arrival, You will be welcomed by the Maasai people with their traditional dance and enchants. Also, they will start by telling the Maasai people’s history, culture, and interactions among themselves. Then, they will demonstrate how they slaughter goats, eat raw meat, and drink blood as part of their culture. Therefore, these activities will be done within two days. You will stay overnight at the Maasai Village for two nights.

Days 5: Maasai Eco Boma

 

After breakfast, you will bid farewell and drive to Makuyuni. Maasai Eco Boma fuses traditional Maasai culture with simple, modern comfort. It offers a full two-day activity schedule. You will encounter Maasai dances and tribal enchantings and meet the Maasai Kids and elders.

Day 6: Stay and Interact with Hadzabe people

 

On this day, after breakfast at 6:30 AM, depart the lodge around 7 AM for a 1-hour drive to Lake Eyasi. Upon arrival, receive a short orientation before visiting the Hadzabe Tribe, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer communities. They hunt with bows and arrows and gather food from the bush, living similarly to our Stone Age ancestors. Stay overnight at Lake Eyasi for two nights. On the second day, join the Hadzabe clan for a hunting expedition and later visit the Datoga and Iraqw people. The Datoga are skilled blacksmiths, crafting tools and ornaments using traditional methods beside their homes.

Day 7: Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater | 1 Night

 

Have breakfast, leave the Lodge at 7 AM, and have your 1-hour drive to Ngorongoro. Today, for the first time, you will experience the game drive inside the crater; we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a full-day viewing. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a wide variety

Day 8: Departure

 

After breakfast, depart for Arusha. Visit a local market for some last-minute shopping.

Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
