After breakfast, you will descend into the Crater for a fantastic game drive with a hot picnic lunch on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is the most prominent and unfolded volcanic caldera, mistakenly called Crater, and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Crater is supported by a yearly water supply from the highlands and enough fodder. The Craterports many animals in a big pool, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, eland, impala, topi, and hippos. The rare black rhino can be seen here in its natural habitat.
The cratCrater has a denser population of predators, including lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs & jackals. As very few animals move in and out of the CratCraterls, which are 6000 meters in height, the so-called big five can be seen in one day of game drive in the cratCraterte afternoon drive to Maasai village for a cultural tour. They will then transfer back to Arusha or the airport to your next destination.
